nomecam

Nomecam becomes more VIP as the first mushers near the end of Iditarod, run down the chute, and under the burled arch (made from a large log with burls in it).

Sometimes you can catch them in the chute on Nomecam. Sometimes only a blur as they approach (Nomecam refreshes every few minutes).

If you want to watch the end of the race and chat, Iditarod.com has a way to do it.

Mitch Seavey is running at mile 907…

on the map, Nome is mile 979…

Sometime tonight…

Meanwhile back in White Mountain, Nic Petit, Dallas Seavey, Joar Ulsom and Jessie Royer are resting for the next assault…
