For all its romantic 18th century imagery (think American and French Revolutions from the British perspective), Poldark is a gorgeous let-us-living-history-geeks-drool-over-the-costuming- and-landscapes eyeball fest as well as Aidan-Turner-Is-The-Ultimate-Eye-Candy… and Let-Me-Smite-That-Slimy-Villain (pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeez five minutes in a 10 by 10 room with a sword and Evil Slimy George…)(I know I’d roll a twenty…).
